New age

The gas price is going up and up, and I.m not seen any sigh of price down in the near futher, thanks to the hyper technology, the gas can get us more farther the nornally would, and even the price went up, But the money gos to the gasline for my car per month stays same. 

for many of us might see this is not a solution, because of the car they owned are the same for while, and paying double, even more for they “old” cars.  o recomment most people today to get the hyper car, either way you are paying the same money towards your car used, and you can drive the newer car. 

buying the hyper car might cost little more money, but in the long run, is about the same money you would of pay for you “old” car today. \

IF 7 Crique

after almost 10 weeks, i finally finish the project, over all i think my game is keep of success, even through the process, i had many problems, but by going through help from research, i found most of the answers. one things i like about my game is have more the 3 endings, but only one are archived the game, others are end in death. and weakest point on my game is my vocabulary, i have tried make the story more interest, but due do my limited vocabulary, i have the story sound kind of simply. through this process i have learn how IF 7 works and understand the basic with this program, known how authors process to built this kind of game, and also helps me on the grammar part little bit, because the game is base on standard English.

Grand theft Auto

Grand Theft Auto 4 is one of the best game have came out this year, capability of player is getting wider and wider, when i have my first vision of this game is limited on the cars and running on the road. until now, we now just able to take over the water in the boat, also we can take over the plane and flight. from hiding behind the building to able to duck the bullet behind the car.

i have seen the trailer on Youtube, but now yeah getting my hand on the real game yeah. i heard so much great stuff it could do, with HD on Playstation 3, the graph is so clear, I can’t wait to get my hand on it. well, i will tell you more after i play the game. Games Rules

who is in change on today’s technology. i have saw the movie Die Hard 4 few months ago, and re-watch it again today. that is scary how much we dependent on computer and network,  as lot of our daily supply  are rely on data base control. they control the traffic, financial market and communication.

like in the movie, anyone is smart enough to take over our system.  they will have total control of our country.  and the system  failure may cause many chain reaction.

we all dependent on the technology system today, and machines are taking over our works, and as many young kids today, they can’t live without the Internet and gaming system.  and for the same reason we are the strongest nation in the world, because our technology. we have all the information and advance machines to make our life easier.

IN THE CLASS TODAY WE HAVE GIVEN INSTRUCTION TO CREATE A GAME TO SIMILAR LIKE CHESS, BUT WITH DIFFERENT RULES, MAINTAIN THE SOME PRINCIPLE.

AS CASSEY AND I WORKING AS PARTNER, WE JUST USED THE CHESS BOARD BY ADDING A RIVER PATH BETWEEN TWO TERRITORY(AS WE CALL IT COUNTRY) AND EXTRA ROW ON EACH SIDE, THEN ADD TWO PIECE ON EACH SIDE CALL IT BOAT CARRIER. AND REST PIECES IN CHESS REMAINS.

THERE ARE THE RULES

1,NO PIECE CAN CROSS THE RIVER WITHOUT THE BOAT CARRIER ON OTHER SIDE FIRST BUT PAW(INFANTRY) THEY CAN SWIM.

2, BOAT CARRIER’S MOVE CAN MORE ONE STEP IN ANY FOUR DIRATIONS. BEFORE CROSSED THE RIVER AFTER GET ON THE OTHER SIDE, IR’S MOVEMENT ARE RESTRIED AS PAWS.

3, ALL OTHER PIERCE HAVE SAME MOVEMENT AS CHESS

4. BOAT CARRIER HAVE STAY ALIVE IN ENEMY TERRITORY TO HAVE OTHER PIECE MORE FREELY BETWEEN THE RIVER.

5, IF BOTH BOAT CARRIER KILLED, OTHER OPPONENT HAVE 50 MORE TO END THE GAME. OTHER WISE IS A DRAW.

PRODUTION (IF)

so far i have created the main structure how is game going to begin, and what is necessary step to archiving the goal, making the room is easy, position the object in the room had me spin around little bit, because by putting 2 or more object in same room, some time i meant to making the object fixed in place but things on top of it are removable, but program not allow me to do it. many times i just wanna to smash the computer because it can be little sentence could told me a hours to change thousand times but still wouldn’t work. at one stage i run the program after every line is added, everything went fine till i got to half way done. it showed me something on the beginning is wrong, so i figure if i delete the last line i added will be just fine. but after i done that, still show me the some error.

i started of with things i need to unlock many doors by carrying everything on the person, and as going around the rooms, creating scenery’s, hiding those key in different places and creating containers to conceal then. and i will leave the description for object last, because it’s going to take me awhile make make then readable,(I’m not a good writer).

selling your profile

have you though about how google, Yahoo and Youtube making money even they don;t change user to used their source.  well i just learn from my new media class today, that the company who interested to buy those site is not for they technology, they are buying our information,interest and e-mail address.’

Question is are they allow to selling our e-mail and interest and making profits out of our information we have provided when we sigh up to be their member, i guess that is part of agreement almost no body read when we sigh-up.

we have live in the age of information,  and that is most value thing we have.

Hype Spin Puffery on new media

do you trust everything from the news? and buying things as they advertise said they’re the best.

i have read article by Lane Jennings just few days ago, and got me thinking little more, because things they  show on TV might just showing few click of what happen portion of scene and not the full thing. and in advertisement they might said something is truth, but play with the word little bid, like “there is no thing better then this product”, well that might be truth, but what about same quality to this certain brand.

i Knowles more by watch our presidential candidates on Youtude,  there is some video they combine few second of many speech and make it one candidate sound like he is telling lies.

Media has great power to what people think and making decision on maybe choices, and most people trust what they said and put on air, but same time we have to ask question, leave a spot in your brain to recycle the information again.

Ineractive Fiction (pre-production)

prior to started on IF 7, we have went over some example in the class, and using that software we have using traditional English and basic grammar. well as we went over the example on the class, seens to bring out my weakest on this project(that is my writing skill) my grammar alway has been my problem and limited vocabulary to describe scenery inside the room i knew is going to something simple. And building the room is easy as i though but just lot of detail device and serve it’s purpose isn’t easy. i know there going to lot of error when setting up the device.

staring to create a story line i decide to start something simple like treasurer hunt, and little idea form saw 4, the story going to begin with people got lock inside of a building and all the door and window are solid lock, only way out is to find the magic key to unlock the front door, of course there might be trap if open the door with the wrong key. as searching for the key there will be item to be collected prior to finding the key. so player will have two or more different results.

Relationship between Us and technology

are we getting lazier as we getting more technology, things making our live easier and having then to do our jobs.

people are reliant on the technology, as more and more. everybody are carry something electronic and more kid wants stay home play games. there are less outdoor activity and less kids playing outside their house. for some people i have known for years, they spending more time affront of computer then spending time outside. and I’m one of then.

as i heard from my parents they didn’t have computer or cellphone when they grow up, but they spend more time having fun with friends and neighbors, and as we are today, we spend more time affront of the computer and TV screen.  and communication with friend is lost, even talking on-line, but there is something still missing comparing the old fashion type of friendship.    well are yuou one of then spend more time with you phone and computer then spend time in socialising in person?
